Reiki Healing Therapy.
Enhancing wellbeing through universal energy.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction, relaxation, and healing. Developed by Mikao Usui in the early 1900s. Reiki is based on the idea that a universal "life force energy" flows through all living beings. When this energy is low, we may feel stressed or unwell, but when it’s abundant, we feel vibrant and healthy.
The word Reiki comes from two Japanese terms: Rei, meaning "God’s wisdom" or "Higher Power," and Ki, meaning "life force energy." Together, Reiki represents "spiritually guided life force energy."
Benefits of Reiki Therapy
Reiki has been shown to help reduce stress, ease pain, and improve emotional and physical well-being. It supports the body’s natural ability to heal itself and can enhance the benefits of conventional medical treatments. Research suggests that Reiki may help with:
Reducing anxiety, stress, and depression
Pain management
Post-surgery healing and recovery
Boosting the immune system
Supporting meditation and relaxation
Improving quality of life for individuals with chronic conditions

What to Expect in a Reiki Session
During a Reiki session, you remain fully clothed, seated, or lying down. The practitioner gently places their hands on or just above your body, allowing the energy to flow where it’s needed most. You may experience sensations such as warmth, coolness, tingling, or a deep sense of calm. The goal is to bring your body into balance, creating a state of relaxation where healing can naturally occur.
Is Reiki Right for You?
Reiki can be an effective complementary therapy for various health conditions, including chronic pain, anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and more. While research is still ongoing, many people report significant improvements in their quality of life after Reiki treatments.
Whether you’re seeking stress relief, emotional healing, or physical recovery, Reiki offers a natural, non-invasive way to support your well-being.
When Reiki is not recommended
While Reiki is generally safe for most people, there are a few situations where it is not recommended:
Individuals with pacemakers: Because Reiki involves energy flow, it may interfere with the function of a pacemaker.
Before broken bones are set: Reiki should not be used until after the bones have been properly set by a healthcare professional.
If you have any concerns or medical conditions, it's important to consult with your healthcare provider before receiving Reiki.
